Who should I contact in case of an emergency or to report safety concerns in the community?

Yes! TownSq is the resident portal. You can use the TownSq website to stay connected anytime, anywhere. Download the app by visiting the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

When are Board Meetings held?
Board meetings are held monthly on the second Monday of each month. Homeowners will receive an announcement through TownSq with the meeting date, time, and agenda in advance.
When is the Annual Meeting held?
The annual meeting is held in August. Homeowners will receive an announcement through TownSq with the meeting date, time, and agenda in advance.
Where can I find a copy of the Meeting Minutes from previous meetings?
You can find a copy of all the available minutes on TownSq in the Board Meeting Minutes, as well as the Committee Meeting Minutes folders located in the Documents menu option.
Where can I find a copy of the Governing Documents?
A copy of all the Governing Documents, including the Bylaws, Declaration, Covenants, Easements & Restrictions (DCCRs), Declaration, Resolutions and Policies, can be found in TownSq in the Documents menu option, as well as on the Heritage HOA website.
Where can I find a copy of the Financials and Budget?
You can find a copy of the financial statements and the budget on TownSq in the Financials folder located in the Documents menu option.
Can I rent my property and are there any restrictions set in place?
You are able to rent your property. Although there are no restrictions per the governing documents of the HOA, you must follow the City of Fort Worth guidelines. Please visit the City’s website for mor information.
I have rented out my property and now have tenants. What do I need to do to notify the HOA?
The homeowner and tenant will need to complete a Lease Information Form and pay any associated fees. Once we process the form, the tenants will have access to TownSq and the amenities. Please note that by signing the form, the homeowner relinquishes the right to use the amenities during the duration of the lease to the tenants.
What are the guidelines for regular trash and bulk waste collection?
Trash pickup is on Mondays. Regular trash must be bagged inside the brown cart with the lid fully closed; overstuffed carts won’t be collected. Yard trimmings should be placed in paper yard waste bags or the optional 96-gallon green cart, with shrubs and tree trimmings tied in bundles no longer than 4 feet and under 40 pounds. Tree limbs up to 4 inches in diameter should be stacked in piles up to 8 feet long. For bulk waste, place bulky items on the curb by 7 a.m. on the second Monday of each month; collection runs Monday through Saturday. Each household can place up to 10 cubic yards of bulky items (about 8 ft x 6 ft x 6 ft) at no extra charge; larger amounts incur additional fees. What is a Public Improvement District (PID)?
Heritage HOA is part of the Public Improvement District (PID) 7. The Fort Worth Public Improvement District (PID 7) was founded in 2000. Property owners within the defined district boundary pay a special assessment above their regular property taxes for the coordinated program of services. The PID is utilized to provide complementary services and improvements that typically go beyond what the local homeowner’s association, or the city alone can provide. Some of the services include improved levels of mowing and landscape management along rights-of-way and within public parks; maintenance of screening walls and fences; and enhanced features such as gateway and wayfinding structures. Does Heritage HOA provide notary services for residents?
Yes, notary services are available exclusively for Heritage residents at no cost. We kindly ask that you call ahead to confirm availability before coming in.
Does Heritage HOA have a Facebook Page?
Yes. Homeowners can stay connected through the official Heritage Life HOA Facebook page, which is public and available for anyone to view. Additionally, the “Heritage Homeowners Only” Facebook Group is an unofficial but helpful resource for neighborhood updates and discussions; this group requires a request to join and is limited to residents. Please note that while both pages provide helpful information, they are unofficial and operated by resident volunteers and are not managed or monitored by the HOA management staff.

How can I make an online payment for my Semi-Annual Assessment?
To make an online payment, please visit castlegroup.com. Click Resident Center, located on the top, left-hand corner of the menu options. You may make a one-time payment, or you can set up automatic payments. For further assistance, please contact our office. It is recommended that your payments are initiated at least 10 business days prior to the due date listed on your coupons to avoid any late fees.

Can I drop off the payment at the Clubhouse?
Yes, you may drop off a check or money order at the Clubhouse made payable to the Heritage Homeowners Association. Please include your account number in the notes. Please note that cash and credit/debit card payments are not accepted at the office.
Is there a grace period for payments?
Yes, there is a 30-day grace period before any fees are applied to your account.
What are the associated closing cost and fees when selling or buying a home?
The following one-time fees may apply at closing:
- Initial Contribution Fee ($1,300): A one-time contribution to the HOA’s capital improvement fund, supporting long-term community projects like amenity upgrades and infrastructure improvements.
- Transfer Fees:
- HOA Transfer Fee ($120): Covers administrative work required to update records and process the ownership change.
- Castle Group Fee ($220): Covers professional management and onboarding services for new homeowners.
- Document Processing Fee ($375): Covers the resale certificate and required HOA documents as outlined in Texas Property Code §207. You may obtain a resale certificate by visiting Community Archives.
These fees help maintain the financial health and overall quality of the Heritage community.

What Kind of Events Does Heritage HOA Host?
Heritage HOA organizes a wide variety of community events throughout the year to bring residents together and build a strong sense of community. Some of the largest annual events include the PID7 Freedom Fest, which features fireworks and live music for the Fourth of July, and Blizzard Bash in December, a festive celebration with Santa, bounce houses, and local vendors.
Are There Events for All Ages Throughout the Year?
Yes! The event calendar is packed with monthly activities such as Bingo, Trivia night, Saturday Morning Donuts on the first Saturday of each month, Toddler Tuesdays, Active Seniors activities and more, offering something fun and engaging for residents of all ages.

What Clubs and Committees Meet at the Heritage Clubhouse?
The Heritage Clubhouse serves as the central meeting space for a variety of resident-led clubs and community committees. Popular clubs include the Active Seniors, Poker Club, Women’s Club, Book Club, and Garden Club. Additionally, it is the meeting place for several official committees that help support and shape the neighborhood.
How Can I Obtain My Amenity Access Card?
Amenity Access Cards are photo ID cards and must be issued in person. Each resident needing a card will need to visit the Clubhouse in person to have their photo taken and card created. Homeowners must be in good standing to obtain their cards.

Is there a fee for Access Cards?
Yes, there is a fee for Access Cards:
Adult Access Cards: $20
Teen (14 and older) / Children (0-13) Access Cards: $15
Replacement Cards: $30
Mobile Credentials: $25
Access cards are valid for 2 years and must be renewed once they are expired.
Can I bring non-resident guests to the pool?
Yes. Residents are permitted to bring up to six guests per household. Guests 3 and older will need to have a guest wristband. These are available for purchase at the Clubhouse and are $8 per guest. Guests that are 2 and under may enter without a guest pass.
Are there any bundles for guest passes?
Yes! You can purchase a 12-pack of guest passes for just $80—the price of 10 passes with 2 free included. Passes are available for purchase at the Clubhouse and do not expire, so any unused passes can be rolled over and used during the next pool season.
Are there wristbands available for visiting grandchildren to use the pool during the week?
Yes, grandchildren wristbands are available for use Tuesday through Thursday. They can be purchased at the Clubhouse for $5 each. These wristbands allow your visiting grandchildren to enjoy the pool facilities during those designated days.
Is there an access pass available for a caregiver who looks after my children?
Yes! Caregiver cards are available for purchase at the Clubhouse. The homeowner must be present at the time of purchase, and proof of caregiver status is required.
Can the Amenities Be Reserved for Private Use?
Heritage HOA homeowners can reserve select amenities for private use, including the Clubhouse and designated tables in the pool area.
The Clubhouse can be reserved for a rental fee of $500, and requires a $400 deposit at the time of booking.
For Pool Parties, the cost is as follows:
Single Party: $30, allows up to 12 guests
Double Party: $60, allows up to 24 guests
Guest Wristbands: $8 each, required only for non-residents pool party guests

Does Heritage have a swim team?
Yes! The Heritage pool complex is home to the Heritage Hurricanes, an award-winning swim team for resident children. Swim practices are held in the Lap Pool, Tuesday through Friday, May through July.

How can I reserve the sports courts?
The tennis courts and volleyball courts are able to be reserved by residents of Heritage HOA. The Multipurpose Court is used on a first come, first serve basis.
To reserve the tennis courts, please login to TownSq, and navigate to the Reservations menu option. You will then click on Amenities and select the court you wish to reserve. The tennis courts are available daily from 7:00 AM to 10 PM and can be reserved for a maximum of two hours per household.
To reserve the volleyball courts, you will need to visit the City of Fort Worth Online Facility Rentals & Requests. This site will allow you to view the calendar and available times. Please note that to reserve the volleyball courts, the City of Fort Worth charges a fee. Please contact the city at 817.392.5700 for more information on pricing.
Can I reserve the parks or their pavilions?
Yes. To reserve the parks, you will need to visit the City of Fort Worth Online Facility Rentals & Requests. This site will allow you to view availability.
